1. Noteikumu pieņemšana

By accessing or using Digivet ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Digivet is a digital veterinary platform that connects pet owners with licensed veterinarians for consultations, health record management, emergency assistance, and AI-powered pet health information.

3. Atbilstība

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Konta reģistrācija

You must provide accurate, complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Fees and Payments

Standard consultations may be free or require a subscription. Emergency consultations incur a fee of €25.00 per incident. All payments are processed securely. Fees are non-refundable once a consultation has been provided.

6. Datu privātums

We collect and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your health data is treated as special category data and receives enhanced protection.

7. Atbildības ierobežošana

Digivet acts as a platform connecting pet owners with veterinarians. We are not a veterinary practice and do not directly provide medical services. The platform is not liable for:

• Aizkavēšanos ārkārtas reakcijā
• Tehniskām kļūdām, kas nav mūsu kontrolē

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and software on Digivet are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Pieminamie likumi

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Riga, Latvia.

• You must be the legal owner or authorized caretaker of any pet registered on the Platform
• You must provide accurate information about your pet's health history

2. Emergency Services

Emergency consultations cost €25.00 per incident. By requesting emergency assistance:

• You understand that online consultations have limitations compared to in-person visits
• Jūs piekrītat sekot klātienes veterinārajai aprūpei, kad tā ir ieteikta

3. AI Assistant

SVARĪGI: The AI health assistant provides general information only. It is NOT a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions about your pet.

4. Veselības ieraksti

• You may upload and manage your pet's health records on the Platform
• Jūs esat atbildīgs par augšupielādētās informācijas precizitāti
• Health records are stored securely and shared only with assigned veterinarians
• Jūs varat pieprasīt visu veselības ierakstu dzēšanu jebkurā laikā

5. Communication

• Čata saziņa ar veterināriem ir konfidenciāla
• You may be contacted about appointment reminders, medication schedules, and checkup invitations
• Paziņojumus var izslēgt lietotnes iestatījumos

6. Atcelšana un atmaksāšana

• Standarta konsultāciju čatus var pārtraukt jebkurā laikā
• Ārkārtas maksa netiek atmaksāta pēc tam, kad veterinārs ir atbildējis
• Subscription refunds are handled according to the subscription plan terms

🩺 Terms for Veterinarians

Papildu noteikumi, kas piemērojami veterināru kontiem

1. Profesionālās prasības

• You must hold a valid veterinary license recognized in your jurisdiction of practice
• Jums jāuztur profesionālā atbildības apdrošināšana
• Your profile must include accurate credentials and specialization information
• Digivet reserves the right to verify credentials and reject or suspend accounts

2. Aprūpes standarts

• All consultations must meet the professional standard of care expected of a licensed veterinarian
• You must practice within your area of competence and refer to specialists when appropriate
• Jums jāuztur skaidra, profesionāla saziņa ar mājdzīvnieku īpašniekiem
• Jums jādokumentē konsultācijas ar atbilstošiem veselības ierakstiem

3. Emergency Obligations

• If you accept an emergency alert, you must respond promptly and professionally
• You may decline emergencies within your available window; they will be re-routed
• Emergency consultations must include clear recommendations for follow-up care
• If unable to resolve an emergency remotely, you must advise the owner to seek in-person care immediately

4. Ieņēmumu dalīšana

Emergency consultation fees are split as follows:

• Veterinarian: 80% of the consultation fee
• Digivet platform: 20% service fee

Payments are processed monthly. You are responsible for reporting income and paying applicable taxes.

5. Pieejamība un dežūrstatuss

• Jūs varat jebkurā laikā iestatīt savu dežūrstatusu (pieejams/nav pieejams)
• Kad esat dežūrā, jūs varat saņemt ārkārtas brīdinājumus un čata pieprasījumus
• Jums nav pienākuma būt dežūrā visu laiku
• Consistent non-response to emergency alerts may result in account review

6. Konfidencialitāte

• All patient information shared during consultations is strictly confidential
• Jūs nedrīkstat kopīgot, kopēt vai izmantot pacientu datus ārpus Platformas
• Jums jāievēro visi piemērojamie datu aizsardzības noteikumi (GDPR)
• Pacientu ieraksti vienmēr ir pieejami mājdzīvnieka īpašniekam

7. Konta apturēšana

Digivet reserves the right to suspend or terminate veterinarian accounts for:

• Konsultāciju sniegšanu ārpus aprūpes standarta
• Atkārtotu neatbildēšanu uz pieņemtiem ārkārtas brīdinājumiem
• Pacientu konfidencialitātes pārkāpšanu
• Krāpniecisku vai maldinošu akreditācijas informāciju
• Jebkādu rīcību, kas pārkāpj piemērojamos veterinārās prakses likumus

8. Atteikšanās

Veterinarians using Digivet are independent professionals, not employees of Digivet. Each veterinarian is solely responsible for their clinical decisions, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations. Digivet provides the platform infrastructure but does not direct or control veterinary practice.
